5,000 miles and 700 years. I’ve been trying to think of the right words to describe this part of the trip, and all I can think about is how lucky I am. Lucky to have the resources to make a trip like this. Lucky to have parents that are healthy and still seeking adventure. And lucky that they love me and want to spend time with me.
A vivid reminder that our time here is short, and our time together is even shorter. And while nothing is ever perfect, finding joy in the happiness of others makes life a whole lot better. There are no words that can describe the feeling of seeing your mom realize a lifelong dream. I’m so happy for you and I’m so happy that you asked me to join you on this journey.
