Honestly I made this song in 2020. I released it in 2022 as a very different track. Iâm rereleasing Lucid today to honor what was my favorite song when I first made it, and to open up in my music in a new way. This is the most emo Iâve been on a track. Itâs also the most honest.
Lucid is not a song to feel good with your homies. this is for someone whoâs felt their truth be rewritten, someone whoâs been struggling to accept love, someone whoâs struggled to move forward.
Ideal listening environment is alone in your headphones while on a long walk or drive.
If you listened to it the first time, this time itâs way better. Iâm leaving the first one up for comparison and progressâs sake because why not lol
