Punched out my old @stetsonusa 30x Silverbelly and made it into a west Texas punch of sorts. While it was still warm I jammed it down on my noggin which is the MOST cowboy way to make sure your cutter bumps are just right. Lumpy, stained and imperfect, just like its owner
Got the closest to a day of gun school that I’ve been able to muster for the past three years or so. Was really nice to strap the blaster on and remind myself how much I have to work on.
Custom boots from @bustamantecowboy are here and they are super duper nice. Built like tanks. 1.5” toe 2.25” heel. Saddle tan roughout with black 15” tops. Double scallops. Tech soles. (And yes my kitchen floor is a disaster today. Blame the dogs)
Found this 50% beaver felt on eBay lightly used for a really good price. Had a teardrop crown and slight rolls to the brim. Punched it out and reshaped it into a West Texas Punch with high sides and a 7” square front with round corners.
