Dearly Departed had me feeling the gamut of emotions — I laughed out lout, I cried, I swooned and I sweat a bit too. 🥵 Chip Pons found a way to explore love, grief and acceptance between two completely different people, while maintaining levity, tenderness and building undeniable chemistry. There are so many details in this book that I adore — the grumpy / sunshine dynamics between Hayden & Levi (obviously); Levi’s ICONIC friends lovingly roasting him; the simple fact that Levi is redheaded, freckled & f*ckable 🤣; Hayden’s thoughtful caretaking and of course, the bed chem between Hayden & Levi, feat. Hayden’s shadows. 😏 Dearly Departed was one of my most anticipated reads for 2026 & I was certainly not disappointed. 🖤 One more month until release day and I highly recommend!
