A few photos of the kittens now that they’re in the same room. The last few days were tense between them, but it’s working out. They’re still figuring things out after being separated for 2 weeks and Ivy starting with the room to herself. But Leaf is being surprisingly good and they’re figuring out how to be comfortable together again. I love these kittens so much, and I can’t wait to get much nicer photos of them. #ivy&leaf #bookmarkpedals #rescuecatsofinstagram

The first pedals I’ve built in months. I got a very nice request from someone and decided to go for it. Religious imagery isn’t something I have a lot of, or something that I’d normally use, but the request included it so I did my best with the books I have. Thank you to Christopher for being so patient with this build and for being a cool human being. I needed something like this to push me back into building, and your patience was key to me completing it.
This isn’t to say that I’m back or that I’m taking new orders.
But I am trying to come back, even if I’m not sure what that will look like yet. #bookmarkpedals
A tracing/sketch I was messing with. The basic lines were traced, and I took it from there with my sketchy little lines. In a pencil drawing I’d clean the lines up, erasing and redrawing parts, but I like how they look when I’m drawing with ink.
Finished this little practice/silent practice board today. It’s got enough that I have the sounds I really want and have a little variety. If I had more space I’d definitely add more modulation pedals. An ehx 720 looper is under the headphone. Cameo from my own little dual tap tempo with a red fox on it. #bookmarkpedals #pedalboard
Better photo of our current situation here (just outside Ocean City, NJ). Intense stuff.
The butterflies in my chest made a trampoline out of my stomach, and they’re listening to the song Jump Around on repeat right now. Just hoping the power stays on at this point. #southjersey #nj #blizzard2026
Proof of concept: this was the first take in attempting to record both the pickups from the @eastwoodguitars Delta 6 Resonator Baritone as well as mic'ing the "acoustic" sound of it at the same time. Running through the @bleakdistrictelectric@bookmarkpedals Layers Preamp into the @deformeddevices Signal Decay Radio Amplifier. There's also a tiny clip near the end where I use a bookmark pedals momentary disconnect pedal to mute the guitar output so you're just hearing the body of the guitar. I think I can do a lot more with this setup,l in the future! #music #baritoneguitar #eastwoodguitars #pedaldemo #bleakdistrictelectric
Today I put together a “headphone practice/pedal testing” board. Plenty on there for testing tap tempos and expression controllers. And a lot of fun pedals to mess with when I’m playing with headphones (or not).
It’s a little heavy; I might need to adjust that to use it more easily. I got a Canvas 15 on sale for the power, and the Classic Jr board was a used deal too. I like the overdrive side of the Big Muff Germanium 4 as a compressor and eq. The gain on that side is super low even maxed out, so that side is an “always on” pedal for me in this situation.
I don’t play shows, and I won’t put out music any time soon (unless I do?). I just fucking love pedals and building boards and experimenting with sounds. It’s why I started building pedals in the first place. #ilovepedals #bookmarkpedals #happynewyear
