On March 18, The Triệu Institute welcomes Ashin @ashin.yang & Morris @book.ing_morris from Book ing Bar @booking_taipei , Taipei.
Hidden in an alley in the heart of the city, Book ing is a vintage speakeasy built around stories. Every drink begins with listening, and every recipe is shaped around the guest who sits before it.
For their night in Saigon, they open a new chapter from their current theme,
“𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧-𝐮𝐩’𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.” A menu inspired by childhood wonder, quiet magic, and the worlds we once believed were real.

Ngày 18 tháng 3, nhà Triệu sẽ chào đón Ashin và Morris từ Book ing Bar, Taipei.
Nép mình trong một con hẻm nhỏ, Book ing là quán bar nơi những câu chuyện được kể qua từng ly cocktail.
Ở đó, bartender bắt đầu bằng việc lắng nghe, và mỗi công thức được tạo nên riêng cho người đang ngồi trước quầy.
Đến Sài Gòn lần này, họ mang theo một chương mới từ menu 𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧-𝐮𝐩’𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
Những ly cocktail lấy cảm hứng từ thế giới hoạt hình tuổi thơ, nơi sự tò mò, trí tưởng tượng và một chút phép màu vẫn còn tồn tại trong ký ức của người lớn.

Our logo draws inspiration from the Komainu, the iconic Japanese lion statues that stand guard at shrine entrances. In Raion’s take, the Komainu transforms into a playful fusion of a Lion’s Snout and a Coupe Glass, embodying a sanctuary where

About Kate Osmillo
Kate Osmillo is the co-founder and bar manager of Raion, known as the creative mind behind its cocktail program and daily operations.
Originally trained as a chef, she shifted to bartending for health reasons and quickly found her true calling, winning the Don Papa Bartender Competition in her very first year (2017).
Her culinary background now informs her approach to flavor, balance, and concept. Kate believes that beyond passion and a good palate, great bartenders must also be great entertainers—because how a drink is served is just as important as how it tastes.
Her charisma and warm hospitality have built strong connections with guests.
In 2019, she became the Philippines champion in the Glenfiddich World’s Most Experimental Bartender competition, earning a place in the global finals in Scotland.
She also previously managed Oto, which ranked on Asia’s 50 Best Bars multiple times.

《2025 Asia 50 Best Bars No.7》

Hope & Sesame, also known as 庙前冰室, opened in March 2016 as Southern China’s first speakeasy bar. Located in Guangzhou’s historic Dongshankou district, it was founded by Andrew Ho and Bastien Ciocca.
The bar is celebrated for its warm hospitality and innovative approach to cocktails, with a strong focus on collaboration and community-building.
Since opening, Hope & Sesame has received wide international recognition.
It has been listed on Asia’s 50 Best Bars for seven consecutive years, ranking No. 7 in 2025 and named Best Bar in Mainland China from 2023 to 2025.
In 2025, it also debuted on The World’s 50 Best Bars at No. 29, along with multiple global accolades for its bar team and cocktail menu.

About Amy Yu
After graduating from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Amy found her passion in the food and beverage industry, particularly in cocktails.
Despite the pandemic challenges, Amy went on a six-month journey abroad, immersing herself in
diverse cultures and experiences, eventually she joined the pre-opening team of Bar Sanyou, a visionary concept by Asia‘s 50 Best Bar awardee, Hope & Sesame.
Amy discovered her interest in event organization and project management and has been an integral part of the Hope & Sesame group for almost four years, overseeing numerous events and leading consulting projects for renowned brands.
She believes that the hospitality industry offers endless opportunities for growth and learning and remains driven by a mindset of continuous improvement.
She has overseen more than 100 events as well as being the led consulting projects for the brands such as Ralph Lauren, Peet’s Coffee, Peninsula Boutique and Hennessy.
