We’ve got a microphone to belt one out on, and a few amps to plug into if that’s what you’re feeling.
That being said everyone is welcome to bring their own gear.
Upright bass, piano, drums, and electric guitar provided. I mean we have a trumpet too, but if you’re walking around with your own mouth piece in your pocket, I guess good on ya…

Some products carry a sense of place before you even open them.
Bon Vent builds their ciders from the ground up. Foraged fruit, coastal orchards, wild fermentation. Every bottle tied back to where it started.
When the foundation is that strong, the label has a different job. Not to decorate, but to translate.
Soft structure. Clear type. Just enough detail to hint at the story without spelling it out.
It feels considered. Like the design understands what it’s holding.

Thrilled that @bonventcider will pour with us May 3rd at our 3rd annual CiderFeast Portland at @oxbowliveme .

We met co-Founder Matthias via Erika at @anoche.portland . He cut his teeth working with our NY Cider friend Steve Selin @southhillcider in the Finger Lakes. BonVent cider is based in Hancock, Maine!

"Hard cider is a simple product that starts with pressing whole fruit, just as one would with sweet cider. To ferment that juice, Bon Vent doesn’t typically need to add any additional yeast or sugar, and much of the flavor comes from the naturally occuring yeast that came to be on the fruit in the place where it was. Since many of the trees they harvest from are by the ocean, and because the fruit might have varying amounts of tannins, the blended ciders are akin to wine that has complex terroir and depth of flavor. The resulting product can be anywhere between about 3–8% alcohol, and is sometimes blended with blueberry wine, which they also make. "
Thanks @portlandfoodmap for their thorough Maine cider guide!

TONIGHT from 6-8pm! @40thievesmusic is performing at Bon Vent for the first time!
Duo with @traviscyrmusic and @laura.bagel . Authentic, exciting, and full of gentle harmonies with vivid, poetic lyrics and intricate, percussive guitar playing. Their shows are an enjoyable mix of their best original songs along with select works from classic songwriters and traditional numbers which continue to stand the test of time and relevance. “Hypnotizing psych-folk, Kinda like John Prine from outer space.”
