A Filipino Jamaican fusion in New Jersey 🇵🇭🇯🇲
Everything here is truly a mix of Filipino and Jamaican flavors. The meats use familiar seasonings from both cultures. The lumpia and empanadas consists of a curried meat inside. The juices blend popular flavors from both islands for a flavor explosion. Not a single detail is missed to give you a true Filipino Jamaican cuisine experience… which is a first for me. Never heard of a spot to have both!
Jeanne and Damion opened up @bonneysbbq not too long ago. And it constantly got my attention on social media (shout out to @mel_vs_food and @thatfilipinolife for having amazing videos on this spot). I finally made the trip to Jersey to see if it was going to meet my expectations… and it exceeded them. I will be taking an hour trip for this more often. ✨

Insider Bite: BBQ fusion unlike anything you’ve had 👀. My first time at @bonneysbbq and i was told I needed to try their signature half-and-half — jerk chicken and jerk pork 🔥. Best of both worlds.
