Upozorňuje na filmové principy, které ovlivňují malířské myšlení napříč generacemi a malbu pro změnu ukazuje jako prostor, který filmovou estetiku proměňuje v nové významy. It draws attention to the cinematic principles that influence painting across generations and, in turn, presents painting as a space that transforms cinematic aesthetics into new meanings. eng below Srdečně Vás zveme na vernisáž výstavy: Egress / @dominikbehal VERNISÁŽ: 27.5. 2026 OD 18.00 📍Bold Gallery, U měšťanského pivovaru 6a, 17000 Praha Díla Dominika Běhala vědomě narušují ustálené hranice mezi nástěnnou malbou a závěsným obrazem. Tradiční nástěnná technika je zde vyňata ze svého architektonického ukotvení a je transformována do podoby přenosného panelu. Freska tak není determinována místem, ale stává se obrazem. Název výstavy Egress Ize částečně chápat jako klíč k interpretaci autorovy tvorby. Běhalovy obrazy nepracují s lineárním narativem. Spíše je nutné je vnímat jako prostor k vyjádření různých simultánních dějů, v nichž se jednotlivé časové roviny prolínají a vrství. Výchozím bodem jsou kresby, které autor dále rozvíjí v malířském procesu. Tato procesuálnost zdůrazňuje, že obraz není uzavřenou formou, ale místem neustálého přeskupování významů… Kurátor: @adamhnojil Grafika: @studiodivize ——•- We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition: Egress / @dominikbehal OPENING: 27.5. 2026 FROM 6 PM 📍Bold Gallery, U měšťanského pivovaru 6a, 17000 Praha Dominik Běhal’s works deliberately blur the established boundaries between mural painting and hanging painting. Here, the traditional mural technique is removed from its architectural anchorage and transformed into a portable panel. The fresco is thus not determined by its location but becomes a painting. The exhibition title Egress can be partially understood as a key to interpreting the artist’s work. Běhal’s paintings do not operate with a linear narrative. Rather, they must be perceived as a space for expressing various simultaneous events in which individual temporal planes intertwine and layer upon one another. The starting point is drawings, which the artist further develops through the process of painting.
