๐๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐ฝ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐๐ฝ:โจ- Hamstring stiffness reduces by 10.3% as the athlete shifts from a stiff hamstring strategy to a warmed quadricep strategy. โจ- Saddle movement and rocking are reduced.
- Saddle position shifts several centimetres back.
โจ๐๐ณ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ญ๐ฎ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐? The rider starts to get comfortable.
- Weight distribution across the saddle, pedals and handlebars finally plateaus.
- Lateral saddle position shifts too. As the body warms and loosens up the rider finds a steadier state, becoming more consistent across the saddle.
๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ?
The threshold for accuracy is a minimum of 12 minutes. Bike fitters should allow this period of time for the rider to warm up to achieve a more reliable and repeatable fit which mirrors that of the real world.
