SENTi, (@shop_senti ) is based on the verb Sentir, means to feel in French, Italian, Spanish and Latin. With its five letters, SENTi references the five senses: scent, taste, touch, sight and sound.  - As an extension of branding, we utilized Les 5 Sens, a French nursery rhyme by Ninon Linotte, as an online navigation. - “My nose to smell the flowers in the garden My eyes to see all the little rabbits The flowers I pick them with my hands In the heart of the early morning My ears listen to the birds sing My mouth to taste the summer fruits With my 5 senses I discover everything I will tell teddy”

New work for @batcherblockoperahousestaples in Staples, MN. Built in 1907 by Charles Batcher it is an excellent example of a rural opera house, originally built for both civic and cultural life. Situated along the historic Jefferson Highway and the Burlington Northern Railway, it is the gem of Staples. Brand and strategy in service of preservation initiatives, including an Accessibility Capital Campaign, focused on an elevator to expand multi-generational access. The Accessibility Capital Campaign lifts more than people from floor to floor in our space, it lifts our whole community. By funding a new, fully accessible elevator and inclusive upgrades at the Batcher Block Opera House, we remove physical barriers and widen the circle of belonging. “Accessibility isn’t just our architecture, it’s our ethic.”

BLNCD Naturals (@blncdnaturals ) is a women-owned and operated beauty and wellness company creating high performing luxurious products from plant-based ingredients, including CBD. . The brand’s mission, bringing the body into balance, is rooted in the research and science of wellness from plants. The array of product blends offer targeted benefits from relief to bliss. The notion of a spectrum is important to BLNCD Naturals, as are concepts of balance and equilibrium. . We chose to visually represent this spectrum of offerings as a color gradient ranging from healing blends like Relief and Recover to energizing blends like Bliss and Boost. Each blend receives its own hue on the spectrum, which translates to packaging and digital promotional highlights, reinforcing individual product identity.

For SENTi, we created a taxonomy for color and scent to help identify fragrance families: fresh, floral, floral amber, fourgère, woody, chypre, and gourmand. . This palette not only impacts the digital expressions of the brand, like the website, but also the sculptural scent testers that were created in collaboration between @shop_senti + @mwmmpls . . The mixture of muted + electric tones is reinforced through historic imagery like, The Birth of Perfume, filmed in 1967 in Grasse, France.
