We were super excited to hear that @flamebaster was heading to Aberteifi and chuffed to bits to get to spend a few hours in his company cooking a few of our big hitters. What Chris is doing for the food scene in wales is massive and we’re over the moon to be able to have a small part in this next series.
You might catch a glimpse of us and you will definitely see a few familiar faces!!

Aberteifi’s first major date in the calendar for this year is this Saturday 25th and the weather is looking a beaut!☀️
To get involved in the festivities as much as we possible can we have decided to open our trailer on the quay all day long. Running as usual between 10-2 with our breakfast and lunch pitta menu and then reopening from 3 with Burgers and Beers to see out the day until 8:30pm!
We’ve got a prime spot to watch the parade so come grab a beer with us🍻

I’ve just realised something… Cardigan is actually a great place to get caught in bad weather if you know where to go.
Because it’s was windy, sideways rain, full West Wales behaviour , and I’ve ended up by the River Teifi at this little spot, Bocs Du, which might now be my go-to for a warm lunch in Cardigan.
They’re doing proper fired pockets ,hot, stuffed pittas, the kind of street food you need when you’re soaked through. And they’ve got Hard Lines coffee on, so between that and the food, you’re basically revived.
It’s one of those low-key West Wales lunch spots you’d miss if you didn’t know it was there… but actually, for Cardigan food and a quick, cosy coffee stop by the river, it’s ideal.
Open till 2:30 as well, which is generous because this weather has completely thrown my day.
