“Bobby Kim spent more than two decades insisting that a product is never just a product. At The Hundreds, the LA-born streetwear label he co-founded in 2003, T-shirts and hoodies are delivery systems for community, emotion and a shared sense of belonging. Now, Kim is bringing that philosophy to the largest consumer-products machine in the world, as Disney Consumer Products’s (DCP) newly appointed global creative director — a role that has never existed at the company before.“

Trailblazers forge ahead into the dark unknown, guided by independent conviction. They don’t wait for consensus. They fight for ideas long before they’re obvious to the rest. Their oft-overlooked superpower, however, is in their ability to bring others along. It’s about that epiphany, that turn in the journey, when a leader realizes that it wasn’t about carving a path for themselves, but for everyone else behind them.
As we open Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I am grateful for the trailblazers who’ve led the way for people like me to exist. Artists, entrepreneurs, restauranteurs, tech founders. On Friday night, some of my favorite friends and heroes like Lisa Ling and Ally Maki gathered for the Character Honors awards, using their stories to uplift the community and to show us how it’s done. Thank you for the recognition, @character.media . I truly couldn’t have gotten here without you all.

I almost cried onstage today, which was surprising. A first. I’ve reached a point in my career where I can look back and enjoy the view; and the colors come alive in ways I never appreciated before. Thank you @canva for inviting me to speak at Canva Create. And to @debbiemillman for pointing out all the monuments along the mileposts.
I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. But I do know that by following my curiosity and creativity, I’m getting closer to my truth.
I was honored to join the 2026 Fashion Trust US Advisory Board as a judge for their annual Designer Showcase. Along with my peers, we met 16 US-based finalists (designers and emerging brands) that demonstrated exceptional achievement and sustainability across Ready-to-Wear, Jewelry, Accessories, and Graduate. The winners were declared later in the evening at the annual Fashion Trust Gala.
Tory Burch accepted Designer of the Year and emphasized how important it is to nurture your point-of-view in Fashion, a business that is always asking you to explain yourself. To that end, all 16 finalists stuck the landing. Thank you @fashiontrustus for platforming emerging designers. And thank you to the emerging designers for inspiring the incumbents. Lead the way. 🔥
I appreciate you Colm Dillane @kidsuper for dressing me. A true artist and visionary that spans generations.
And joined by Lisa Baldzicki, President of Disney Consumer Products.
