On this day April 20th 8:52am two years ago, lightning flashed from the window of my wife’s hospital room as she exhaled her last breath here in this earthly realm and transitioned to the Heavenly realm. Every minute of every day for the past two years I’ve tried to make sense of the grief attached to a life so full of love…I’ve learned the greater the love you’ve shared the deeper the grief you’ll encounter, or the greater the loss you feel…unless of course you trust it in His hands. Makes sense to trust such a love to someone who could be the only one that knows the grief you feel…and in so doing the Worship that becomes so intense it supersedes any other love shared between two. Through the 40 plus years He allowed us to share our lives I never met another person that so represented the character of the Father than what I saw in her, this beautiful person God allowed to be my wife, my life. “The light comes on!” I saw in her what I needed to see of Him which is what I long for in her absence. So our walks together and talks together…every intimate memory together I can still find in my daily time together in Worship to Him. I know my Worship brings me to the easy side of grief from my loss. I guess that’s just another one of this mysteries of Heaven…?
