My beautiful mother.. Happy Mother’s Day Mom, I miss you like crazy!!! I wish I could sit with you just one more time and talk for hours.. I would love to hear your voice and hold your hand and hold you in a tight hug. Close enough to smell your perfume. I would give anything to share just one more home cooked meal made by your hands and hear you laugh at Archie Bunker. Photos are great, but they are never enough.. everyone seems to believe that they have the best mom in the world, and I get it.. but I actually did! I love you so much!!!!!!!! I hope Jesus is letting you make the robe I’ll be wearing when I get there, you were so good at sewing 🪡 I still have every blanket you ever made me. Please give daddy a kiss for me and give Jimmy and Gary a smack in the head and tell them it’s from me 😉 I celebrate you today and I thank you for making me who I am. ❤️
Our momma bear, head of the worship crew.. the Daystar singers! My God, this woman loved to worship!!! She wore many hats here but don’t think for a minute she didn’t have her pulse in this worship team. She hand picked every singer and every song. I remember once I asked her.. do you think you’ll ever get too busy around here with all that goes on that you’ll just want to stop singing with us? She looked at me and smiled and said.. are you kidding? There is nothing here more important here than reaching people and worshipping God. Worship is in my blood, I will never stop singing.. and she didn’t! What a class act she was! We will miss her greatly!! But one thing I know for sure.. right now she’s STILL SINGING!! Happy Mother’s Day Joni, we all love you so much!!!!! 💔
Some folks don’t like it when people post photos of their Mothers who have passed.. I’ve heard them say, it brings me down.. we want Mothers Day to be a happy celebration! Well.. historically, this is what Mothers Day was all about from the beginning.. read it first yourself. Why not just celebrate your Mothers the other 364 days of the year if you still have yours.. and those of us that do not, we’ll just keep posting pics of the woman who once was 🩷 Because one day, you’ll be posting pics right along with us
