should i just rant on twitter or should this be a thing?? because anthropologists have all these set metrics and building your own tools is one. i find before people understand the software enough to customize it to their needs they are just failing up. that is cool! thats the fun. i wish i could learn ableton for the first time. i wish i could hear burial for the first time.
Write a caption...Ok so I loved this track it worked well in our sets. We wanted to make it more moombah and have a groove that was a bit more complex, but still hit in the same way. I usually call these edits, but we really filipped this tune. So we cut the track up. No AI back then so we just chopped and eqed a lot of little pieces. Rebuilt the low end from scratch with ableton operator and really got into the arrangement and what we wanted to bang. We liked the almost "up down" groove so we just chopped and worked the arrangement trying to use everything Breach did to make the track great. Remixes are a main outlet we use creatively to experiment with sound design and arrangement tricks in a safe environment.
Swipe to hear the original tune which inspired us. Breach designed a journey which had a magical vibe. Thanks for the tune @benwestbeech
