The sweetest little film for the sweetest couple 🤍 This handheld documentary style film was so fun to make. When we talk about documentary style filmmaking we are referring to the non interference of a moment. This allows for an effortless and natural style which doesn’t feel wedding video-y at all. Really enjoying this approach to capturing raw and authentic moments. It has an air of Italian Neorealism style to it which has always been a favourite era of filmmaking for me. We used a mixture of digital, super 8 film and aerial footage. Love the nostalgia bringing super 8 film into a project creates. It was such a pleasure to explore the quaint village of Ravello with Maya and John-Michael.
