Found them hugging the bottom. The fast sinking swimbait was getting down to about 12-15 feet. Right where it needed to be.

Turns out the Sea-Funks will be staying the same as last year. Only difference will be the scent. This year we will be scenting them with a Squid/Shimp liquid sent that is absorbed into the plastic. This was by far the most productive scent we fished last year. And NEW this year is our @procurebaitscents Sea-Funk scent (squid/shrimp blend) for that extra funk when you need it most. If you’re curious why we had to step back from the silicone scent a pocket I explain the mad scientist stuff about what happened at the end of this video.
But for real, if it aint broke dont fix it. The Sea-Funks were penomanal last year. They consistently outperformed the other big name soft plastics, were much more durable, and did not dry out on the hooks.

I had a very full circle moment last week. I decided to go hit a spot I fished HEAVY when I was just getting started kayak fishing. About a half hour in I hear a voice out of the fog saying “hey Dan, that you?” I look over and say yup that’s me! Next thing I see is @al.timefishing holding up the bunker up with a huge smile on his face saying I’ve been catching a ton of fish on this! Al you don’t know how much this moment means to me. I designed these lures from experiences I had in the exact spot we met on the water. To have come this far and have this moment unfold with you on the water is unreal. What made it even better were the stories Al told me of him fishing all the swimbaits and catching a ton of bass, from surf and kayak!

It’s been a spring where I found my self on @capt_eddie_brown@fishdownndirty charter boat a LOT. This kind of fishing has led to some amazing experiences with some absolutely great people. Big thanks to Eddie and his mates @lupo_charters and @budzandbass and everyone else I got to share the deck with so far.
I have been throwing ONLY my swimbaits for bass on his boat. It’s amazing to see them be as providcive as any other bait, if not more. The Bunker has shined big time. It seems to attract the bigger fish out of the pack.
Fishing this much on a boat has also lead me to discover some improvements I can bring to the Bunker. Stay tuned I’m excited to share more of the evolution of my swimbaits! Got something coming to make them even more productive 👊
Also that Bluff Kayak rod I had built is turning out to be a great boat rod. Still in testing but so far so good.

We will have both the 3”/.8oz and 4.5”/2.5oz available in a variety of colors and patterns.
These are incredibly versatile casting jigs that on a moderate receive swim with a side to side roll / swinging action. They also excel with quick rod twitches giving them an erratic action.
Last year they did about everying, I won a tournament on its first day in use with a 41” Striped Bass, @chico_del_oceano was whacking Tuna and Bass on it, Bluefish couldn’t keep it out of their mouths and the 3.5” jig seriously proved itself for albies and bonito.

Last night they wanted that 😮💨💨 420 shallow swimmin @budzandbass wake and bait special.
It worked so well the guy next to me asked “are you dipping your lure in honey before every cast” before he came over to see what I was throwing.
The Shallow Swimmer has a very unique slow waking / sub surface swimming action that was the perfect presentation for this evening. And with the replaceable tails I was able tune it ever further for the time of day. Since I fishing dusk into night I chose to swap the pearl tail for chartreuse for that added visibility as the sun faded behind the horizon. I think it worked.
