Today, April 17, we mark World Haemophilia Day; a global reminder that millions of people are still living with undiagnosed bleeding disorders.
Haemophilia and other inherited bleeding conditions affect the body’s ability to clot blood properly, making even minor injuries potentially life-threatening. Yet, across the world, over three-quarters of those affected remain undiagnosed.
This year’s theme, “Diagnosis: First step to care,” is a powerful reminder that you cannot treat what you have not identified.
At BloodLines Foundation, we stand in solidarity with individuals and families living with bleeding disorders. Because access to diagnosis, care, and safe blood support should be a guarantee, not privilege.
