The Cosmic Songwriter Festival 2026 is starting in just a couple days, and there is still time to grab your tickets via the link in bio!
For the 2nd night of the Festival at the @blockhousebloom we are pleased to have @bealsman and @laneybertsch paired together, opening for @itsmadisonhughes and @jarroddickenson !!!
Laney Bertsch is a Bloomington songwriter who loves finding the sacred in mundane moments. What started as personal practice snowballed into a community rooted by music and its tendency to mend what's broken. Inspired by John Prine and Adrianne Lenker, her music is lived-in and hopeful—it pulls out the marrow of life and makes you pay attention. Find her band Pocket Berries on all streaming platforms, and please say hello after the show
Jesse Beals is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and frontman of the Bloomington-based bluegrass band Low Landers. He is known for his clever and thought-provoking lyrics and banjo-forward original songs. You can also find him at his day job as a tattooist at Moon and Dagger or bump into him on some trail deep in the woods.

No one rides alone, no one is alone, and we’re all sing along together. This is my absolute favorite musical event and I hope to see you there and dance together.
Please share the poster around!!!
I wanted to tag all you wonderful folks who are performing but also didn’t wanna through names around without permission. Comment if you’re gonna be involved and I’ll tag you!
I also printed extras and will set aside posters for anyone who’s performing! Cause you are all amazing and I love you.

We are pleased to have @itsmadisonhughes co-headlining our 2nd night of the festival alongside @jarroddickenson at @blockhousebloom on Friday May 15th!
For anyone following Madison Hughes’ fast-rising career, it is her signature sultry, smoky tone that first pulls you in. Fans have connected with her storytelling voice, the kind that “grabs ya by the soul” and “feels like home.” A self-proclaimed late bloomer, Madison did not step into the spotlight until her time on The Voice. The Jacksonville, Florida native was shaped by the honest songwriting of 1970s folk-rock and modern country-blues, influences that helped her develop a sound that is raw, evocative, and unmistakably her own. Her voice makes every lyric feel like it is being sung directly to you. Even Billboard Magazine has taken notice, calling her “immensely talented” and “on a star-making trajectory.” Despite her rising profile, Madison remains grounded, warm, sincere, and as genuine as they come. Whether sharing her own stories or breathing new life into old favorites, she is the kind of artist who leaves a lasting impression. With her new album All That I Am and EP Desperate Man, Madison continues to prove what her fans already know. She is not just an artist to watch—she is one to remember.
