The Cosmic Songwriter Festival 2026 is starting in just a couple days, and there is still time to grab your tickets via the link in bio! For the 2nd night of the Festival at the @blockhousebloom we are pleased to have @bealsman and @laneybertsch paired together, opening for @itsmadisonhughes and @jarroddickenson !!! Laney Bertsch is a Bloomington songwriter who loves finding the sacred in mundane moments. What started as personal practice snowballed into a community rooted by music and its tendency to mend what's broken. Inspired by John Prine and Adrianne Lenker, her music is lived-in and hopeful—it pulls out the marrow of life and makes you pay attention. Find her band Pocket Berries on all streaming platforms, and please say hello after the show Jesse Beals is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and frontman of the Bloomington-based bluegrass band Low Landers. He is known for his clever and thought-provoking lyrics and banjo-forward original songs. You can also find him at his day job as a tattooist at Moon and Dagger or bump into him on some trail deep in the woods.
