My disability doesn't lend itself to the creation of stunning memorable images. I am mostly trapped in bed over and over. I'm playing with ways repetition can create the kind of impact that unexpected and beautiful images do.

There’s still time to experience what Jillian, Dawline-Jane, Natalie, and Sabina have been developing throughout the month (on view through May 9). The gallery has been transformed into a living studio, offering a rare, real-time glimpse into their creative processes!
If you can’t make it this weekend, their work will remain on view in the Lobby Project Space throughout May. Stop by during gallery hours, Thursday–Sunday, 12–5 pm.
Hope to see you soon!
This Saturday: OPEN CENTER: No Buy Your Wardrobe
SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 3-5PM!
Are you a novice sewist interested in improving your sewing skills, or folks who want more control over their clothing options? Check out this workshop!
WHAT: This Skill Share will allow participants to learn basic concepts of sewing and mending their clothes. We will create space for discussion to develop better textile material awareness in understanding what kinds of materials go into our clothes, and encourage attendees on how to style and share our sense of fashion in a way that is not only eco-friendly but also budget-conscious!
WHY: Californians throw away 1.2 million tons of textiles a year, and San Franciscans send 4,500 pounds of textiles to landfill every hour. How can we practice repairing clothes to make them live longer?
Please bring an item to mend! For example, a piece of clothing, a cloth bag! Or bring an item to swap! If you are looking to give away a piece of clothing that no longer suits you, feel free to bring it to the clothing swap.
Event organized by artist M Eilo (@blinkpopshift )
RSVP required. Limited spots. Mask required.
