A lot has changed, and it felt like time for a proper reintroduction.
Here’s where I’ve been, what I’ve built, and where I’m headed next.
What season are you in right now?

Q1 was a season of closure for me. It’s a privilege to live life the way I do: to hold each part of it up to the sun and ask: does this please me? does it grow me? To sit with God, wait for the answers, and adjust accordingly.
It’s a life lived as a continual experiment. And each day, I’m inching closer to life…life, abundantly.
For Q2, two goals: 1. Apply more pressure 2. Be more whimsical

We’re in our syllabus era 📚
#OurBiblesOurselves distills years of study—scripture, history, womanist and feminist theology—into an accessible framework for anyone who wants to engage the Bible honestly, thoughtfully, and ethically.
Just as the Bible was once used to justify slavery and colonialism—and later used to advance civil rights, independence, and racial justice—I believe the same text that has been used to oppress women and girls can also be used to realize #GenderEquality.

It was already madness to sign up for #Hyrox when I did— right in the middle of my busiest work season, with tons of travel, and only a few weeks to train.
It was another level of madness to sign up for #HyroxSingles for my first race.
And then, to top it all off, I had a medical crisis two weeks before @hyroxsa and was basically in bed until a few days before the race.
But as the stubborn goat that I am, the pain of not doing it *for me™️* was going to be worse than the pain of doing it. In a year when so many challenges were outside my control, I needed one challenge where the variables belonged to me.
The day before the race, my vitals were still shaky and my blood pressure was low. I got a drip, a B12 shot 💉, and decided my only goal was to finish. I genuinely thought I’d come in around 3:30:00 given how weak I was feeling… so imagine my shock when I finished in under two hours and even made top 10 in my peer group for a few splits?!!
I’m so sorry, but right now you can’t tell me NOTHING. My head is currently as big as Table Mountain 😂😭💀.
Your girl is officially a Hyrox finisher 🏋🏾♀️💪🏾!
Put some respect on my name 😮💨

What a decade thirty-seven was.
I lived many, many lives in the last year.
I moved to a new country, traveled the world, met new people, leaned into my founder arc, consumed tons of art and picked up my pen again.
There were many highs, but I’d be lying if I said this year was easy: the wins came with costs, and the blessings were sprinkled with shege.
Thirty Seven was a wrecking ball that refused to leave me unchanged. It’s biggest assignment? Stripping me of the residue of naïveté.
This was the year that forced me to see people and situations as they are— not as I am, or as I want them to be. Each time I put my head in the sand, life dragged me by my thin edges and bitch slapped me in the face.

Walking into thirty eight with clarity: about my calling, my circle, my capacity, and more.
Usually, I make a fuss about birthdays.
This was a year when I was just thankful to be alive. And as one friend put it, that’s a hell of a thing to be thankful for.
But yesterday reminded me that love will always, always find me. I planned to ignore my birthday but my people buried my nonchalance with a ton of chalance... I was showered with calls, gifts, messages, voice notes, prayers, flowers, posts, and more.
Here’s to being alive and loved.
And here’s to thirty eight— may it be great 🥂✨

I’ve done a lot of speaking, but this event was a special first for me because I was invited to speak in my capacity as the creator of #ThePivotDiaries 🥺. Deep gratitude to @emergent_inquiry_consulting and the #PanagoraGroup for the invitation to share my story and insight about pivoting with such an accomplished group of women. A new core Jozi memory 🫶🏾❤️✨
PS: Thank you @kylemgreen for these photos 📸!
Can you really be a Christian and a feminist at the same time? 🤔

I had so much fun on the @isaidwhatisaidpod talking about one of my favorite topics in the world: the intersection of faith and feminism. The episode is
out now, wherever you listen to podcasts 🎧.
PS: My pants were so tight I was prepared for them to rip at any moment during the episode 😂. Just know when I commit to a lewk, I commit 😂!
PPS: “Reeling thoughts out faster than ChatGPT” is now in my top 5 compliments of all time 😂🫶🏾.
