šš»Unique Public Art
šš»āMy goal is to get more people to love art, so my passion is designing pieces for places where people may not expect to see them. There is a growing need for more inclusive and safe spaces within our urban environments, so I am honored that local communities trust me to create art that their entire city can enjoy.ā

šš»Loqui, for The Fairgrounds Nashville, celebrates this vibrant and historic entertainment venue.
Loqui is Latin for āto speakā and is an illuminated, color-changing form that is wrapped in stainless steel text. Self-expression through public art is the inspiration for the sculpture, and it encourages visitors to express themselves. The surface of the artwork tells stories that
were collected from the local community. Commissioned by the City of Nashville.

Every sculpture Blessing creates begins with research. Before a single form is modeled, she spends time studying the environment, gathering stories, and understanding the rhythm of a place.
These early observations shape every decision that follows, from material choices to form and scale. By grounding each project in its surroundings, the final artwork feels intentional, connected, and truly part of the space it inhabits.

Public art is more than decoration. It invites people to explore, connect, and experience their city in a new way. Thoughtfully designed work can shift how a place feels and how people move through it.
Blessingās goal is to create sculptures that bring moments of openness, reflection, and connection into everyday life, helping cities feel more human, welcoming, and alive.

Blessing believes that public art should meet people where they already are. When art feels approachable and safe, it invites people to slow down, open up, and connect with the space around them.
Her work is built on trust, openness, and the belief that shared spaces should feel welcoming to everyone. These sculptures are not meant to feel distant or exclusive. They are designed to support real connection in the places people move through every day.

Blessing creates sculptures people can move around, sit under, and walk through. Interaction is not only allowed, it is encouraged.
These works are meant to be experienced with your whole body, not just viewed from a distance. In the middle of a busy day, they offer a moment to slow down, shift perspective, and connect with the space around you.

Community is at the heart of Blessingās work. She often says that community offers a sense of belonging and acceptance in the world outside of oneself.
Her sculptures are created to help people feel connected and grounded in shared spaces. Each piece is designed to support connection, encourage gathering, and offer a sense of comfort in the places we move through every day.

Programmable, color-changing lighting is one of Blessingās signature tools. It helps her create sculptures that feel safe, welcoming, and truly alive, especially after the sun goes down.
Light becomes more than just a design element. It helps shape the mood of a space and creates an experience people can return to again and again. These lighting systems continue to evolve and open new creative possibilities with every project.

A unique part of Blessingās process is engaging communities where they naturally gather. She chooses settings like festivals, markets, and libraries to speak with new audiences and collect ideas that shape her work.
