In less than two weeks we'll be playing our first ever festival at the Port Kembla fest, who said nothing ever happens in Port Kembla?! Well fuck... you're right, lots of people… well anyway, something IS happening this time and it’s huge. We’ll be there to keep the party going all day and long into the night so bring a friend and bring us a beer, we'll see you on the 18th to handover the keys to the Vault. AND THAT’S A WRAP! SCS #2 is done and dusted, and what a ripper night. Wollongong came into the Hunter for sweet vengeance and clawed back the shield. Talkhouse battled hard and took out Best Band of the Night, with honourable mentions to Frog Soup and Caster. A huge thank you to Super Hubert for opening the night, our judges Adam, Mark and Hayes, our host Rohan, our supporters at Thirsty Messiah, Riot FM and Hot & Heavy, our videographer Tyrone, and the crew at the Hamo. Without you, this night wouldn’t have happened. STEEL CITY SHOWDOWN WILL BE BACK.
