Working directly in partnership with Dainese and AGV, Blank. Studio was commissioned to tell the story of the “journey” for the launch of the new K7 helmet. How do you visualize the journey? We used light as an optical motif to represent the energy and wind moving along the helmet and into the ground.
Research & Development
The focus of the project was built around human analog aesthetics; using a context recognizable to an audience of motorcyclists allowed the art direction to create a “breathing” mood. The use of innovative scanning techniques allowed the recreation of a materiality at an ultra-realistic level of detail allowed the team to get close to the product and understand its characteristics, resulting in pure realism in motion. Test simulations of the K7 make it physically accurate, showing the innovation of energy return with enhanced design and comfort.

For the launch of the new Carbon Molt, Blank Studio collaborated with @fanticbikes to tell a story of structural evolution. How do you visualize strength? We approached the project by treating the carbon fiber as a living element, using light and geometry to reveal its reactive soul.

The core of the project was centered on "materiality at scale". Using innovative digital prototyping and light-simulation techniques, the team was able to translate complex engineering into a fluid, organic aesthetic. The result is a physically accurate representation of energy return, where every curve is optimized for both visual impact and functional excellence.
