๐Ÿ”ฌ From mechanism to translation: a new step in MLSยฎ laser therapy research We are proud to share a new publication developed within the ASA Campus Joint Laboratory, in collaboration with the Division of Neonatology, Careggi University Hospital (Florence) and the University of Florence. ๐Ÿ‘‰ /2076-3271/14/1/152 This study investigates MLSยฎ laser therapy in an advanced ex vivo lung model (precision-cut lung slices)โ€”a system that preserves tissue architecture and cellular interactions, bridging the gap between in vitro and in vivo research. Key insights: Significant reduction of IL-6 and TNF-ฮฑ Comparable energy, different outcomes depending on delivery parameters Evidence that power density and exposure time influence biological response Why it matters: Understanding how laser energy interacts with complex tissues is essential to move from empirical use to mechanism-driven, reproducible protocols.
