Punks For Palestine 2026 All of these amazing bands worked together to sell out the venue @slygrog to donate over 9k from the funds they made to a great cause, everyone involved deserves a huge thank you for what they were able to accomplish

@themilestoneclub was filled with high energy and nothing but good vibes for the Camping in Alaska tour with Stella and Dead Butterflies. This venue has been an iconic venue in Charlotte for years now and always welcomes DIY acts from all over. The first band on was @elder.bright , a local NC band from Wilmington, who have a nostalgic fever dream rock sound that’s easy to jam out to. These guys are no strangers to The Milestone and it shows in the comfortability in their performance. Following Elder Bright is @blankstate , a well-known Charlotte band, who always knows how to get a crowd moving. Watching them perform you can tell they’re naturals with the way they run around the stage and don’t skip a beat. From Faye’s guttural and bone chilling screams (while absolutely shredding on bass) to Jacob’s lively vocals and Seth’s top-tier skill on the drums, this band is a must see in Charlotte. @stellasband , an indie punk band out of Oregon, came next with a spirited and passionate set showcasing their talent and love for music. Their album “A Streetcar Named Desire” has a midwest emo feel and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for new music from them! The @deadbutterfliesband set was surreal and beautiful. The seven member band beyond showed out. Everyone in the audience had nothing but high spirits and excitement for every song in their set. The lead singer Micah felt every word he sang and was in the crowd for majority of the set, being a part of the mosh pit multiple times which is something I’ve never seen before. Their set was the most unique and outstanding performance I’ve seen in a while. To end the night @camping.in.alaska absolutely demolished their set from start to finish. The mosh pits and crowd surfing were insane, including Austin the lead vocalist crowd surfing at the end of the set whilst playing guitar. From “Turncoat” to “c u in da ballpit”, every song they performed built the energy in the room up more and more. Every member of this band is insanely talented and their songs have a great feel for any playlist. They have a new LP in the works so keep an eye out!
