May you finally be at peace my brother. Words will never be able to describe this pain or the love I had for you. Since day one us kids were the fantastic four. Our parents raised us to look out for one another, pick people up when they were down, and to treat the janitor with the same respect as the CEO. My brother followed these guidelines til his last day. He was the first to show up if you needed help, give you the shirt off his back, and invite complete strangers into his home who needed shelter. I was the baby in the family and he was my guardian next in line. I always knew that he had my back and if anyone tried to mess with me, you had to get through him first. I pray to God that he knew how much I looked up to him, the life lessons he taught me, and the deep love I'll forever have for him. Thank you for all the laughs, the pranks, the amazing food you'd make, for always looking after our parents and for putting others before yourself. I will forever share your legacy, every birthday, every holiday, and every adventure that we'll take together with you as my guardian angel. I love you so much, Justin. Saint Lucia in 35mm. Shot these using an old Pentax Spotmatic from 1964 loaded with some Kodak Portra 400 with Asahi Super Takumar lenses. This was my first test run with this old girl. Learned a lot, some the hard way as I shot another entire roll that never advanced resulting in absolute failure. But I love the results from the shots that did come out.
