But, my word, this book was a delight.
It super-ha-ha-clever.
It was super-building-worlds-clever.
It was super-philosophical-books-are-fucking-political-clever.
I love the Cruise-Ship to Earth 2.0 setting, and the memory/body premise – particularly the bits about memory cocktails, and projectors, and all the other techno talk.
I love the diverse cast of characters – particularly John – and I can’t wait to see where Dorothy’s relationship goes with the Yarn Story Owner (her name is escaping me atm).
I can only hope #3 follows closely behind.
