Scenes from the bar we made, Launchpad. It’s like that show “Wings”, but in space. The Megablock didn’t have any places to just sit and chill so we filled that void. Lots of people came by to relax or trade stories. Interviews and photo shoots were done here. And for a while, we had the galaxy’s most terrifying bartender, Lockjaw.
I forgot to weather the inside of Mako’s shield. And a shot of Boss in his decontamination suit that he wears when he has to mingle with commoners in close quarters. Pics by @munkmarvelous
First test of the new armor: chest plate, shoulders, cod piece (what a weird name) and neck gear. Re-painted the shin guards to add more teal. Still working on weapons and some sort of backpack. And maybe a short cape.
I was only able to be at Wasteland Weekend for two days and my costume was bare bones due to OT at work, but I had a great time at the event and camping with the Vandertroop crew. Starting a new kit for Wasteland Weekend. I have the hero pieces for a gladiator and a cowboy, but leaving those off for now to focus on something light to wear, in case it’s scorching again. Lightweight cloth that I’ll dye a light sage green and copper armor. I was inspired by Jesse’s Neo alien.
