Finally planted up our new little Christmas tree field. A mix of 270 different spruce and firs. Including the Norway spruce - the original Christmas tree introduced to Britain in the 1800s by Prince Albert.
A little bit of history, and a lot of future Christmas magic in the making!
And yes, of course a picnic or 2 were involved… Philly steak toasties 😋

AGA roast some ‘chips’, add some chargrilled greens, thickly slice up the rib eye, pop on some garlic stuffed mushrooms, brighten with slow roasted tomatoes in the vine, add some sauce…this is my green peppercorn sauce….then enjoy!
