Ukrainian ethno-group DakhaBrakha @dakhabrakha releases “Dytyatochko” (“Little Child”), a haunting lullaby about children illegally deported by Russia. Filmed at Kyiv’s St. Sophia Cathedral against the “Black Cloud” installation, it blends folk vocals and raw emotion to give voice to Ukraine’s youngest victims. A powerful act of cultural resistance, reminding the world: these are not statistics. Watch now only on United24 Media’s YouTube channel.

Composed in the first months of Russia’s full-scale invasion, DakhaBrakha’s lullaby carries the weight of grief, memory, and injustice. It speaks directly to the crime that continues to scar Ukraine: the illegal abduction of thousands of Ukrainian children by Russia. Filmed beside the Black Cloud installation at Saint Sophia’s Cathedral, one of the most enduring landmarks of Rus, the video links a millennium of Ukrainian resilience to the trauma of today. As of now, at least 668 have been killed, more than 2,200 have been injured, over 1,5 million are under Russian control on the occupied territories, thousands and thousands were abducted, and only Russia knows the real numbers, as it does everything to hide the truth and erase Ukrainian children’s identity. With joint humanitarian and diplomatic efforts, only 1820 kids were brought back home as a part of President’s initiative Bring Kids Back UA. The artistic video portrays a world searching for the children stolen by Russia. Directed by Ganka Tretiak, with artwork by DakhaBrakha’s frontman Marko Halanevych, “Dytyatochko” becomes far more than a song: it is a cultural outcry, a mother’s whispered prayer, and a nation’s vow to defend its children – and its soul. Yet within this lullaby lies a promise: we are waiting for every child to come home. Our children are not trophies.

Black Cloud is a symbol of Ukrainian resilience and a warning of what still threatens us. Built from 4 km of inflatable black fabric and filled with real sounds from the front - artillery, explosions, drones - it connects Ukraine’s reality with the world’s attention. Even before leaving the country, the Cloud was covered by more than a hundred international media. In this case video we show how we at oversize teamed up with Burning Man Ukraine to promote the Cloud’s unveiling for Ukrainian society - and how iconic weather presenter Mykola Lutsenko helped amplify the message in a way only he could. This project is more than art. It is a reminder that cannot be ignored.

The Black Cloud project has become an example of how contemporary art can serve as an effective instrument of cultural diplomacy — shaping international attention toward Ukrainian narratives and strengthening Ukraine’s presence in the global cultural context. Media and communication results: — Potential media reach: 6.7 billion; — 629 million actual reach; — Over 2,000 mentions in global media; — Publications in 30 countries, including 129 in the U.S., 82 in Germany, and 18 in the U.K.; — Coverage across five continents: Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, and Australia; — Featured by leading outlets such as The Guardian, Reuters, Forbes, The Daily Mail, Dezeen, Hyperallergic, Billboard, The Art Newspaper, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and others; — TV features on NBC News and CBS News, with an estimated reach of around 90 million; — Thanks to extensive coverage, the project appeared in major global search engines including AOL, Yahoo, and Yahoo! News; — Over 7.8 million organic views and more than 13,500 reposts across social media within two weeks of active posting, reaching a potential audience of around 350 million. These results demonstrate that Ukrainian art is capable not only of capturing attention but also of shaping a deeper understanding of Ukraine’s context worldwide. Today, our cultural diplomacy is about the persistence of voice — about a narrative that remains visible even where war often overshadows culture. Thanks US PR producer team: @symphopotamus @samofalova 🖤

“No one is born here, yet everyone belongs.” We’re Fine is a story about people who turn the wreckage of war into the language of art. At its center is an installation built at Burning Man from shattered road signs and metal scraps — created by a team of artists and volunteers who carried the chaos of war into a global cultural conversation. It’s a story about choosing to say “I’m fine” as an act of defiance. And about art — as a way of staying connected to the world when words are no longer enough. Behind the film are real lives and hands: artists, technicians, coordinators — all those who transformed bullet-scarred steel into meaning. At the intersection of limitless creative expression and the harshest realities of war, Ukrainian Witness presents We’re Fine — a documentary by director Mykhailo Karpenko. The world premiere will take place on October 3, 2025, in Kyiv as part of the Odesa International Film Festival. #burningman #imfine

Adversity is rarely invited, yet it is part of the human experience. In Black Rock City, artists and their communities come together to forge brilliant ideas, only to witness them transform in an instant by unexpected and even phantasmagorical forces beyond their control. In these moments, connection is born. You learn that when the comforts of the world fall away, strength isn’t built alone — it’s created with the community that surrounds you. Through the dust and the unforeseen trials, the Burning Man community reveals again and again that resilience and connection are inseparable. 📸 1: "Pitirre" by JuandelPuebl0 & Parliament Art Crew Photo by Hannes Haefele 📸 2: Photo by Mattias Löw 📸 3: Photo by Vanessa Franking 📸 4: Photo by Espressobuzz 📸 5: "MONA DIE! "Black Cloud" did not end with the storm. From its remnants rose "No Fate," a testament to the Ukrainian spirit that refuses to surrender. On August 24, a dust storm destroyed the monumental @blackcloud_ua installation at Burning Man, created by artist @oleksiysai and produced by @deynega.vit . In a few days, the team transformed what remained into "No Fate," assembled from salvaged fabric and inscribed with Sarah Connor's defiant words from Terminator 2: "No fate but what we make" — a truth Ukrainians have lived for more than three years. Nova Ukraine supported the international logistics for "Black Cloud" from Kyiv's Sophia Square to Black Rock Desert. Ostap Korkuna, co-founder of Nova Ukraine and Advisory Board member, who participated in the rebuild, shared: "Through unprecedented sandstorms, rains, sweat, and tears, the new art emerged on the playa, signifying the resilience of Ukrainians even under the most severe conditions.” At Nova Ukraine, we support Ukrainian artists at Burning Man and beyond because art transcends human experience, survives every storm, and carries messages of hope to the world. 📷 @gregory.vepryk and Ostap Korkuna
