As I approach my seventieth birthday this coming weekend I feel I need to reduce the time I spend in the
office and workshop.
Since starting the business in 1988 I have worked long hours giving up evenings,
weekends and often not taking holidays. So now I intend to spend more time for myself
and family.
I have no intention of retiring at the moment but will concentrate on the thing I am best at
and enjoy most, creating beautiful upholstered furniture, passing the day to day running of
the company to my son Oliver.
Oliver has been part of the business for over twenty years.
As well as an upholsterer he has many years experience developing and running the online
