@bkwines ’s Carte Blanch Chardonnay feels stepping into a warm kitchen mid-bake 🍑 Quince and sourdough notes lead into baked rhubarb, with juicy nectarine and guava coming through. Lightly floral, easygoing, and seriously drinkable. There’s a touch of ginger spice, some lemongrass lift, and a subtle savoury, briny finish. Perfect with anything cheesy (which you can get from our neighboring tenants) and dine at our place 🙂‍↔️

The lovely vintage 2025 manages to make everyone especially beautiful, even a wine like Skin-n-Bones Pinot Noir who’s never really in need of a glow up. All of the elegant, complex, undergrowth-y Burgundian charms we have come to expect of this wine (not unlike Gower Pinot Noir) but with extra top-note layers of dried Italian herbs and raspberry bush on the nose. First flushes of Campari with orange peel on the palate are followed by wild-strawberry compote and a spicy, cedar woodiness. Time will be very good to this wine which sits atop a structure of intense concentration and velvety tannins. 2025 looks smashing on you, Skin-n-Bones.
