The Regent isn’t just a venue. It’s a living piece of Los Angeles history. Built in 1914 as the National Theatre, it was renamed the Regent a few years later and has worn many hats ever since:

🎞️ Grindhouse + adult cinema
🚪 Closed in 2000
🎶 Reborn in 2014 as a modern concert + event space
Today, it’s one of the last remaining historic movie theaters on Downtown LA’s Main Street. With its sloped floor, proscenium arch, and gothic-inspired ceiling, the Regent brings both character and charm to every event it hosts.
