You may have noticed that we’ve been a little quiet about our new premises recently.
We were really hoping to open at the beginning of February, however, during our renovations we discovered mould on the ground floor, on multiple walls and under the flooring.
After exploring our options, we have determined that we need to leave.
We’re really disappointed that this has happened, and we’re very grateful to everyone who helped out and donated.
Electrolysis treatments will continue at SquareOne Laser Clinic’s new location at @neonghosttattoo . Diode laser hair removal will also be available very soon.
What’s next?
We still plan to open a premises this year.
We’re taking some time to regroup and search for a suitable unit.
If anyone is aware of a space - preferably already fitted with salon equipment, on the northeast side of town and with good transport links - please let us know.
We also have some exciting events and projects coming up that we’re really looking forward to! More info on those coming soon.

Exciting news!
We’re opening a premises in Attercliffe, Sheffield.
We will have space for the clinic and lots of other businesses/practitioners.
This will be a place for the trans+ community in and around Sheffield to receive gender affirming care and other wellbeing services in a safe, trans-run space.
We’re looking for help in raising £1,000 by the end of this week to cover setup costs
We also want to hear from anyone interested in renting a space from us. Rents will be fair and affordable.
We’re a registered Community Interest Company, so all profits will go back into the community.
We’re really excited about this next step and hope you will all get involved with making this happen!
Our Christmas fundraiser with @sheffieldelectrolysisproject was a smash 💥 such a special night with packed room, huge laughs, generous hearts, and the absolute best energy.
Together we raised an incredible £668 to help subsidise electrolysis hair removal for trans women and transfeminine people experiencing financial hardship 🏳️⚧️💖
The total includes:
£470 raised through ticket sales + @biterisksheffield merch
£98 raised through raffle tickets
And we matched the raffle sales, adding an extra £100 from @queercomedysheff , because mutual aid is always a group effort 🥰
A portion of raffle sales will also be split to support My Voice, a free gender-affirming voice coaching service for trans people.
