a moment for our home-compostable packaging suppliers <3 we're not here to gatekeep - we think everyone wins if more people choose sustainable options 🌱 at the same time, we recognize that going fully home-compostable may not be a viable option for some - we can't (and won't) fault anyone for it. it took a lot of time and help for us to get here, too. but for those who are considering a change, we want to share what could be next steps. the information shared here is based on our research, with no compensation received. all product was paid for out of pocket. just showing our respect and spreading the word 🙏🏻 thank you @goodstartpackaging and @stickerit_co for doing what you do. xo bit bakery . note: there are home-compostable, fully-customizable pouch options out there - ones with features like zippers and tear notches, which are typically bought in bulk. we moved away from this route because we thought it would be more meaningful to share options that are accessible regardless of use case and regardless of where people are on their journeys.
