Well… this was a surprise.
I’ve just been included (again!) in the 2025–2026 Professional Photo UK Top 50 Wedding Photographers List.
If I am honest, this one means a lot.
Just last week I was saying to my partner that it has been a tough year. Between running a business, raising a small human, travelling, and trying to keep on top of everything, I felt like I had not really done my best in a lot of areas. I even said there was no way I would be on this list again.
Then this email landed today!
It has been a year of long days, late nights, and doing everything I can to stay on top of the editing while figuring out life as a dad. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I have also managed to convince more than one couple to stand on a bar, chase a lot of good light, and create some properly fun photos along the way.
So this feels like a reminder that even when things feel a bit chaotic behind the scenes, someone, somewhere is appreciating what I do!
Huge thank you to all the couples who trusted me with their day, went along with my slightly wild ideas, and made the whole thing so much fun. I cannot wait to do it all again this year.
And a big congratulations to all the other amazing photographers on the list. I still cannot quite believe I am included alongside so many seriously talented people. @professional_photo_mag@stylecloud.co
Spent Sunday roaming Regent’s Park and local streets with Linda & Shyam. Always a fan of finding great city views 😌 Here are some snaps from our pre-wedding photo shoot
The second part of Aghogho & Robs wedding was a beautiful service at All Saints Wandsworth, followed by a reception at kings college school in Wimbledon. In between we got the chance to have a walk around Cannizaro Park to take come pictures in the wind! I love this windy first shot and was the first picture I wanted to edit!
SHOOTING LIKE A FILM DIRECTOR | FARMER’S IMAGE OF THE WEEK
For a lot of wedding photographers, creativity tends to happen on the day itself. Under pressure, on a timeline, with very little room to try something that might not work.
Which is why this image from James Watson @birchesandpine stood out to me.
It feels considered. Like time has been spent exploring the idea before it ever needed to work in a real wedding setting. There’s a sense that the decisions here weren’t reactive, they were already in his visual vocabulary.
That’s what this image really points to. The value of using quieter periods to experiment, to test ideas, and to build confidence in how you see and shape a frame.
I’ve broken down what’s going on here - from the pose through to the lighting and why it reads more like a film still than a wedding portrait - over on the Farm blog.
If you’ve ever felt like you only get to be creative when you’re on the clock, it’s worth a read.

A few weeks ago I went up to Edinburgh to put my IT skills to use and help out at the @photographyfarm Thrive conference as the “AV” guy! It was fun todo something different and listen to some great speakers. On the second day @devlinphotos let me out from behind the screen to get some fresh air and also tag along on one of the shoots with @camilaurreaa
It was fun to join in and get some a few fun pictures!

I meet @rachnasidhu.mua last year and we shoot a few weddings together and we had mentioned shooting something for fun, and only just a few weeks ago she got in touch to ask if I could help out with this shoot she had planned. I loved some of the ideas and on the day we got to collaborate and try different things out. This look was the last set of the day, I had to rush home but we had just enough time to shoot this set.
I’ve had a few lighting ideas I’ve wanted to try out for ages. It was great to put some ideas into practice and see what happened.

I’m off to shoot my first event of 2026 today! I had fun with Rob & Aghogho trying to espace the rain for their pre wedding shoot last week. Today they are having a Nigerian 🇳🇬 party as a pre celebration for their wedding next month. Really looking forward to being back behind the camera 📷
Halloween at Hampton Manor, round two 🎃
I shared this wedding back in October, but these frames deserved their own moment. Every single one shot on 35mm film.
Soft grain. Real colour. Slight imperfections in the best possible way. Film slows everything down, and that is exactly why it works so well for intimate weddings like this. Less rushing. More feeling. More atmosphere.
If you love the idea of wedding photos that feel timeless, tactile, and a bit nostalgic (without feeling staged or forced), 35mm film might be your thing.
I am now taking bookings for 2026 and 2027 weddings, including couples specifically looking for 35mm film photography alongside digital.
Scroll through. Let the grain do its thing.
And if this is the vibe you want for your day, you know where I am.
