We’re back at @witchesbrew_coffee this Monday, 5/18 from 6pm-8pm, for Fun With Psychics! This week we will be going over tarot readings for self and others; bring your decks and a friend! A number of folks have asked for more divination skill share and practice opportunities, well I’m happy to announce that I’m partnering with @witchesbrew_coffee to offer a bi-monthly Fun With Psychics at their new coffee and tea shop in Mid-City! Fun With Psychics at Witches Brew Coffee Co 2940 Canal St Every 1st & 3rd Monday (Starting April 6th) 6pm-8pm $10 suggested donation + one beverage minimum (tips encouraged) NOTE: These offerings are most appropriate for participants 16 years + Fun With Psychics is a divination skills share where we gather and practice foundational psychic skills and offer readings, applying those skills to a variety of divination modalities. This is an almost free offering : suggested donation of $10 and a one-drink minimum (tea or coffee)… tips are always welcomed and encouraged! This gathering welcomes all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals… come connect, learn, and stretch your intuition. Each session will kick off with an informal workshop, highlighting hard and soft skills relating to divination, best practices for offering readings and energy hygiene techniques. All sessions will be facilitated by @bimboyaga with occasional surprise guests! We’ll explore various divination methods including cartomancy, scrying, sortology, reading objects & trinkets, as well as tassology. While a few tarot and oracle decks will be provided, feel free to bring your own! Feel free to bring an altar item to charge on our communal altar during our gatherings.

They are the founder of the School of Traditional Magic, co-founder of the radical witch’s collective The Witches Temple, and co-creatrix of The Living Altar, a beautiful ritual and performance art project. Workshop. Tending the Community Altar: Cultivating a Sustainable Practice of Magical Service. In this mini workshop we will discuss helpful practices to support you and your altar as you offer witch work for others; from divination sessions to personal rituals. So many of us have a calling to support our friends, family and community through the relationships we’ve cultivated in our magic practices; traditional and folk magic are, afterall, also practices of community stewardship. Yet how do we resource our personal practices and magical relationships for the benefit of others? The reality is that even within protocol based systems, the practitioner finds their personal style thru experience. In this workshop we will not be discussing protocols of closed cultural systems, but instead we will discuss principled ways to help you find your personal style of magical service.
