🍣 SUSHI FERRIS WHEEL 🍣 King Street Wharf just scored a seriously exciting new Japanese restaurant, and yes, the sushi ferris wheel alone is reason enough to go.
From the team behind Callao and Alegre, with chefs from Nobu, Sokyo and Saké, this one absolutely delivers.
We started with crispy salmon rice, fresh scallop ceviche and rich wagyu tartare topped with smoked almond and macadamia.
Then came the sushi wheel, packed with premium pieces from $7 to $24 each, with ours coming to $154 all up. Think buttery tuna and salmon belly, delicate scallop, kingfish and uni.
Add in sticky miso glazed short rib and a beautifully cooked Tajima striploin, and this felt like the perfect place to celebrate Joe’s birthday. This is Aori.
