Join us at 6pm in Marseille on the 22nd of May to mark a milestone. For a decade, Tom and I have shared studios together, each one built by ourselves and 20 times bigger than the last. It only feels right to celebrate this new chapter, as Tom relocates to Marseille, with an impromptu exhibition upon our arrival. The open call invites artists working in Marseille to exhibit alongside the two of us, as well as many others who have also found a home for their practice in this city. With community building at its core, everyone is welcome to come and see what’s on display and meet one another. You have 7 days to apply via the simple application form ***see link in bio*** or by getting in touch directly. As the world seemingly closes its doors to one another, with this new chapter we seek to reopen the doors of cultural exchange between the two cities. This is not the end, but a new beginning of exchange and collaboration. Above all else: by artists, for artists. See you on the 22nd. Location announced soon. Set design from @giuliamoliarov & tons of collaborators to come @lucacolaponti @toni_brutal

For KM 0, LAS Founder Billy Fraser presents Future Fossils, a site-specific installation developed in response to the building and its foundations. The work features resin casts of fossils and fragments of shattered glass, unearthed through the floor as if excavated from another time. Hovering between archaeology and speculation, the installation invites viewers to consider how traces of the present might be read in the future. By collapsing past, present, and imagined futures into a single gesture, Future Fossils reflects on material legacy, collective responsibility, and the kinds of foundations literal and symbolic that we choose to build upon. - words from @rosibaldassin 1. Portrait by Carmen Gray 2. Future Fossils (prologue / proposal), 2025. 1 year 1 work - what are we beyond the fossils we leave behind? Collaborative work between Billy Fraser Studio and a 50,000 year old partially fossilised Bison. 2025 has been the most mental trip around the sun thus far, Can't wait to get back in the resin chamber 2026 Blessings 🦴🦴🦴

LAS becomes LAS Community (CIO) ! To mark this milestone of becoming a charity we had the privilege of hosting our first young patrons event. 9 months ago we got the lease, 6 months ago we finished the build, since we have welcomed over 500 exhibiting artists and 2000+ guests. LAS was envisionined by artists for artists & this is what our first young patron event celebrated. It's an immense privilege for us to become a recognised charity and we can't wait to share with our growing Community what is to come in the future. Special thanks to the countless individuals who have worked tirelessly to realise LAS Community, starting with the in house artists who built the space @billy_fraser @vincent.matuschka @charlieford38 @gray_carmen (& for her incredible photos) @gianna_t__ @bobby_heff @florencesweeney @fabracciopreviti @rosibaldassin Special thanks & welcome to @gduerckheim Our very first ambassador and instrumental in pulling off this first event

Next up is @billy_fraser our Founder and Director housed just next door @collectivending 🌍✨️ Fraser’s practice encompasses sculpture and painting, delving into themes of class, privilege, and socio-political urgency. Beyond his personal work, he has been instrumental in founding artist-led initiatives. Established in 2019, Collective Ending prioritises artist autonomy, providing an alternative to conventional galleries and studio providers. A graduate of Chelsea School of Art, Fraser's career is deeply rooted in collaboration and community, offering alternatives to traditional art world structures. Through London Art Services (LAS)—Frasers artist-run fabrication company founded in 2022—Fraser has facilitated ambitious projects for artists and institutions. Notably, in 2022, LAS had the privilege of installing the Ghana Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. LAS serves over 100 galleries, artists, and institutions both in the UK and internationally and now has a permeant space in which it can support the Artists at its core. Fraser is committed to transparency and advocacy, using his platform to highlight and support systemic inequalities in the art world, such as the lack of affordable studio spaces. Identifying foremost as an artist, he leverages this perspective to shape LAS's unique approach, ensuring that art remains a space for critical discourse and resistance. His mission is clear: to put artists back at the centre. By artists, for artists, with a steadfast commitment to artist-led practice. 1 Godzilla portrait from @gray_carmen 2 The Red Baron, 220 x 160 x 4 cm 2021 3 Family portrait with Red Baron original 2003 @yamamotokeikorochaix 4 Tomorrow, Today, Yesterday installed at Modern Forms, 2023 @modern_forms 5 Guy Fawkes Collected Memorabilia, 2022 @des.bains 6 Day one building Collective Ending HQ 2020 @collectivending
