Echoes of the past, brought into new presence.   For the Swedish House of Nobility’s 400-year anniversary, Big Image enlarged an original painting into a large-scale print for this historic interior.   The work focused on translating the details, tones, and character of the original piece into a new format and scale. Produced in our Stockholm studio and developed for its setting, the final installation integrates with the architecture while giving the artwork a stronger visual presence. . . . . . . art installation, installation, large format artwork, design inspiration, big image, art exhibit, customised #144390 #145639

From page to place – a beloved world unfolds. Lena Andersson’s illustrations are more than images – they are invitations to explore, to learn, and to imagine. Her characters have lived alongside readers for generations, shaping a quiet curiosity for nature and the world around us. For the exhibition Lena Andersson’s World at Millesgården in Stockholm, Big Image premium printed her watercolours on Image Paper – retaining the softness and detail that define her work. . . . . . . exhibition, exhibition design, art exhibit, art exhibition, art design #112724

Strength, shaped by light – a presence that lingers, even in stillness. For the French Horse and Riding Institute IFCE, Big Image crafted a series of large-scale lightboxes printed on polyester fabric using our translight technique – allowing multiple expressions to exist within a single image. As the light changes, so does the visual, revealing new perspectives. Framed in custom-made aluminium constructions, the lightboxes are designed for both presence and mobility throughout the IFCE tour. A softness that holds an entire world. For Der Rosenkavalier at Theater Lübeck, the long-standing collaboration between Big Image and Stefan Rieckhoff, continues in a scenography shaped by lightness – unfolding in the first act. The backdrop, printed on gobelin tulle, carries soft, AI-enhanced imagery that allows light to move freely through the space. Layered with rear projection, the result is a delicate interplay of clarity and translucency. Every work of art begins long before it is ever seen.   Across stages, exhibitions, and cultural spaces, we work closely with artists and creators to bring artistic ideas to life. Sometimes we print the art. Other times, we enable it through leftover fabrics that find their way into new hands, ideas, and expressions. On World Art Day, we celebrate art in all its forms.   Image 1: Reused images, transformed with the artist’s own clay-based colors. Art: @mycket_ . Imagine a space, where stories unfold in every direction.   At Nationalmuseum’s exhibition Badin – Beyond Surface and Mask, Salad Hilowle’s film The Maroon, plays a significant role. Big Image helped out with a three-sided LED installation – bringing the story of Badin to life through light, sound and movement.   Three screens, three narratives – allowing multiple perspectives to exist at once, shaping a space of reflection and depth. Because no story is ever told from just one side.   Artist: Salad Hilaowle Exhibition design: Nationalmuseum in collaboration with art and media historian Åsa Bharathi Larsson at Södertörn University. . . . . . . immersive, immersive experience, exhibition, exhibition design #146232
