When we were creating this all star spot with @shoepalace we knew this had to be representative of the natives that make LA breathe. The thought leaders, the curators, and the winners. The ones who made it and stayed to make it better for the legacy of those who are to come.
When we were shooting the backyard scene it felt like an LA dream realized. It was a backyard of LA ALL STARS from different generations, industries, hoods, and accomplishments and at that moment I was proud of how far the city had come.
This couldn’t have been accomplished without my producing partner on this, the mayor @wattsstix@mizzwhite23 who tirelessly gives back to the city and an amazing group of folks who did this for the love… Los Angeles love.

For the past two days I’ve been trying to find words for this pain, I’ve realized there aren’t any. The memories just won’t give me a break.… every conversation, doctor’s appointment, laugh we forced through the pain & the quiet moments. DarQuel Castillo… you are my first cousin by blood, but my brother by life.
I Find Joy knowing there was nothing left unsaid or done, we fought together! & You knew how deeply I loved you kuzzo! I know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. But even with that faith, this shit hurt! Watch over Me! I’ll carry you with me in everything I do. Love You Champ
