For this episode, I travelled deep into the land of piri piri to experience the original itself, Portuguese piri piri. Think oven grilled chicken, drizzled in chilli oil and finished with lemon and herbs.
Seasoning isn’t as front and centre here, I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but you really have to dig around for sauces and extras. That said, the simplicity still hit the spot this time 👀😩
Still, nothing quite hits like Nando’s… but I’m open to being proven wrong 👀 Drop your recommendations.
