This time last week we were getting ready for a musical send off for someone very near and dear to our hearts. We were honored to be part of the beautiful benefit concert for @estes.larry . The people came out for you. Some of our cities best muscians and singers came out to serenade you. The place was packed- young, old, Black, white, lovers of music, makers of various genres of music. Our hearts were full of gratitude for the many lives you touched. We love and miss you so much. Acoustic gigs, just us and you, were some of our favorite gigs to do. We hold those memories close. We love you forever.
Weekend Gig #2. Huge thank you to @shmdrums for the invite to be part of the 3 Kings of the Blues show last Friday. It was cold outside but @pghwinery was on fire with blazing guitars and a lineup of incredible voices. There was an amazing house band with keys, drums, and a horn section! We loved surprising the crowd with a 3 Queens version of a Freddie King tune. Felt like Freddie, Albert, and B.B. were present and proud Friday night.
