Council of Foreign Relations might as well be a rock band and they are! Friends, @cfr.musics opening for @luna_nyc last night @boweryballroom ! They rocked it and now they are gonna be forced to be superstars. That’s our girl Christy Davis on drums where she belongs! @drummy66 , rockin’Dave Voight @beyondnotes on bass and the extraordinarily charismatic, Sean Eden on guitar and singing! @_seaneden_ So great to see them on the big stage with the big sound! ❤️🙌
I’m currently back in the New York groove. Tonight I’ll be sitting in on a few songs with @goldnycmusic at @heavencanwaitnyc on Ave. A and 11th street at 8 pm, then at some point tomorrow afternoon I’ll do some improvisational music and noise creation at the @thearmoryshow with my friend the artist David Scher (a couple of his pieces pictured in this post), who is showing quite a bit of his brilliant work there this year. Also tomorrow morning I’ll post about a new song I’m releasing for #bandcampfriday.
Also looking forward to a jam session tomorrow night with @cfr.musics . Feels great to be back in New York City.⚡️⚓️
