Ahh, it took me forever to upload these photos. It was hard to choose, after all, I make images for a living, and in these, I couldn’t find everything… there’s no lens wide enough to capture the emotion I felt on the day of my kid’s wedding.
Their love is so beautiful, so full, and so mature, it’s a dream for any mother. Watching them grow together, work hard, and achieve their goals step by step fills me with a pride that, on that day, showed itself in tears of happiness. A lot of them. Honestly, no eyelash glue could hold up, and I’m glad it didn’t.
Thank you to @nelson2226 and @punky26 for bringing into the world the partner of my baby. Now we’ll ugly cry together forever.

Before the most special day began, I got to share the sunrise with my boy.
We held hands like we always had. We looked back at the years we shared and all the life we lived together.
And we thanked God for the beautiful woman whose hand he’ll now hold forever.

Oct. 23-31st. So many pictures. I took a long time to post about it because I couldn’t decide which memories were my favorite- I adore them all. This trip with my beautiful, amazing mother who would burn the world for me just to see me smile was such a turning point in my life.
Yes, Portugal is incredible and the people are awe-inspiring from their empathy, to their kindness, and their incredible intelligence and culture. I learned so much and it was such a privilege going there.
I will admit, what made this trip (and any) so memorable was the woman I went with. Without her, the trip would have been muted. Smiles, smiles, smiles. She makes the impossible happen. The adventure was truly being by my mother’s side and experiencing the world with her- hand in hand. My heart was filled with pure, warm love.

Hoy hace unos años, en la sala de espera de JFK y rumbo a un shoot, Claudio acercó su silla un poco mas a la mía, abrió un cuaderno y, con letra casi ilegible, me enseñó un plan. Nuestro plan de vida.
En ese momento solo éramos amigos. Habíamos trabajado juntos ya por un tiempo y no más. Yo muy sorprendida lo escuché re atenta mientras él, con la voz temblorosa y los ojos brillosos, me explicaba sus bullet points… Vivir en dos países, un hogar con libertad, trabajar, viajar… una sociedad donde el amor era la mayor inversión.
Y aún no terminaba pero corrimos a abordar.
Ya sentados, uno más nervioso que el otro, me dijo:
“Todavía no lo sabes, pero todo lo que hemos vivido nos preparó para encontrarnos.”
Tenía razón.
El plan se va ajustando. Nos ha tomado tiempo, compromiso, esfuerzo, sudor y sangre… como todo lo que vale. Ya van 2,556 y cada día funciona mejor. ❤️🔥 @claudionapolitano
