I made slipcovers for the big framed fabric pieces. Serious thanks to @urielbrewerstudio for basically doing all of the heavy lifting in the deinstall process. He also made all of the frames for the fabric pieces. His help and input and kindness was so important! My supportive husband @pja666 also helped facilitate the install, the deinstall & made ahmazing #glutenfree # lipstick #shortbread cookies for all of the events and could be seen hanging out while I did my thing. I just adore @alanbeingalan and I think I've made a true friend (also an epic installer)... thankyou for bringing me into the fold! Lastly, I certainly can't forget @noelalumit ! So expressive and charming. A wearer of SO many hats. Actor, Artist, Writer....he's just so smart and savvy! Thankyou to both you and Alan for such a wonderful experience 💖@offus_dtla@bendixbuilding
#obsessed with my latest #wip #knittingproject I started it as a. A way to use a tub of beautiful #koigu and #sockyarn skeins. Also as something I could knit for a @drunkenknitters meet up. After all it is only a 4 row repeat and very straightforward! I didn't start with a #magicball but made one to simplify the process. TY to @salvadornatalie for inviting me!! It was SO fun. Natalie met Tuesday....one of the core knitters....creating a knitting core? OK, train of thought here...just visualized a group of knitters marching in formation, knitting in hand....hmmmmmm. Anyways, they met at Jury Duty, which I absolutely love. TY, Tuesday, for being so passionate about knitting that you shared it with Natalie...and in turn, me!😘😘
It was a lovely closing reception for "Lip/Schtick." Congrats to Beth Abaravich on an amazing show.
