WheelHouse Artist Beth Reitmeyer’s “Wonder As We Wander” exhibition is currently on view at the Lexington Art League | Louden House, Apr 3 - May 22
People yearn to connect and to wander, wonder, and dream about what is possible within the landscape of Kentucky. Wonder As We Wander is an immersive installation of sculptures inspired by the land. Torrent, a glittering, glowing waterfall, investigates waterfalls as a metaphor for all of the information and things that nourish and bombard us every day, the torrent of life. Geodes explores how people are like geodes: apparently unremarkable on the outside but glorious on the inside. Wishing Stars with River includes piles of star pillows, each with a pocket. People may write a wish on a piece of paper, tuck it into a star pillow’s pocket, and leave or take the star with them.

Thank you, @mightyjoenolan for your insightful words in the @nashvillescene ‘s Winter Arts Guide.
“Reitmeyer has presented various installations that feature her illuminated geode-like fabric sculptures in gallery and outdoor displays all over the city. This new, immersive, interactive installation demonstrates that two missing ingredients in Reitmeyer’s work have been more space and more freedom. This new work really opens up and goes big, and it’s a big win for Reitmeyer as well as RADAR615.” 🩵💙
Honored to have my work in Craigardan’s “Garden Journal: Life, Death, and Memory.” It’s a privilege to share pages with the work of authors Margaret Napper and Rob Rogers. Thank you, @craigardan
