Never have I ever: coordinated a wedding ceremony in a cemetery.
That’s exactly what K&J decided on and it could not have been more iconic. The most beautiful DC Spring weather (those glorious few weeks before humidity wreaks havoc), cherry blossoms that were POPPIN, and a chapel full of their family and friends.
Cocktails and a private dinner followed at Maketto on H Street. Chocolate cake, a surprise visit from Chef Erik Bruner-Yang, and a playlist that had everyone vibing all night (including their coordinator, wink wink).

L + A said “I do” surrounded by 30 of their favorite people.
They chose the Patterson Mansion right on Dupont Circle, a stunning neoclassical landmark that once served as a temporary White House for President Calvin Coolidge in 1927. History and romance? Yes please 💕
Their palette was crisp and classic: white, black, and green. Our florist created a lush floral installation over the fireplace that became the most beautiful ceremony backdrop, and a jazz trio set the tone from start to finish. The evening ended with an intimate dinner and a choreographed first dance that would make anyone swoon.
This is what a micro wedding looks like when it’s done with intention. Timeless, personal, and absolutely unforgettable.
